SMART Notebook

You will be showing how you would make use of available instructional technology. The default choice for this is to use SMART Notebook. If you would like to make use of a different instructional technology tool, please check in with me first.

As a SMART Notebook, you will be creating a notebook with:

• At least 4 pages
• Lets you demonstrate (model) what children should do in the lesson
• Allows opportunities for children to interact with the SMART Board (in helping to demonstrate the lesson)

Additionally, I reccommend the goal of trying to create a technology demonstration that is likely to be at least as clear as the demonstration you would give without the technology.

The most important consideration is for the technology to be supportive of the teaching and learning in the lesson, so if you feel it would be more effective in a way that is inconsistent with the above considerations, please let me know, and we'll work something out.
