From one of the pages with the parallelogram maker, make a good variety of the shapes the parallelogram maker can make. Copy and paste them into a Word document (you'll probably need to shrink them down so you can fit several on a page). I will grade this part by considering how complete the variety of parallelograms you have included in your list. Look at my pages of rectangles, trapezoids and kites in the Powerpoint file to see examples of what I want.
Either above or below the pictures, write your list of properties that parallelograms have. Try to use geometry words correctly.
How to copy from the parallelogram maker applet:
Drag a rectangle around the parallelogram like this (your cursor will look like a +)
On a PC, hold down the buttons [ctrl] and [shift] while pressing the letter C. On a Mac, hold down the buttons [command] and [shift] while pressing the letter C. You can now paste the screen capture into Word, Powerpoint, Paint, etc.
How to resize your picture in Microsoft Word:
When you paste in your picture in, it will probably be larger than you want it to be. Click on the image once to show the resize handles, and drag by the lower right handle until your picture is the size you want it to be:
