Geometry final exam plan:
- One of the similarity theorems AA, SSS or SAS will be on the final exam
- One of the concurrence theorems will be on the final exam.
- A theorem about parallels will be on the final exam. Possibly something of the form: assuming that we have already proven that “if a pair of lines cut by a transversal have congruent alternate interior angles, then the lines are parallel”, prove “if a pair of lines cut by a transversal have supplementary interior angles on the same side of the transversal, then the lines are parallel”.
- A theorem about areas is likely to be on the final exam
There will probably be some problems or theorems where you are using either congruent triangles and/or similar triangles to prove some relationship.
