Perimeter patterns assignment: 

Make 2 repeating patterns using pattern blocks or similar shapes.

For each pattern: 

• Draw the first 3 or 4 versions/repetitions of the pattern (what it looks like with 1 repetition, 2 repetitions, 3 repetitions)
• Make a table showing what the perimeter is with 1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 repetitions
• Find a formula for what the perimeter is with N repetitions
• Write 2-3 sentences explaining the parts of your formula, and how they correspond to the visual version of the patterns.
