Do them with the materials, with recording each step as you do it.  Talk through what you are doing, as you do the steps of the standard algorithm and record.  Try to use appropriate place value language as you explain each step. You can do this just the same way I did in the videos (that's why I made the videos--so you would have some examples to follow).  If, instead, you choose to start the problems by building both the minuend and the subtrahend, make sure you keep them clearly separated, and are careful in your explanations about what you are matching up as you go through the problem.

You should be using the SMART notebook and Jing to record these.  The problems are a little long; you may want to make 2 separate videos since Jing has a 5 minute limit on the recording time.
