Golden Ratio assignment:

In class we practiced looking for ratios in pictures:

• In some pictures we drew a rectangle around the object, and measured the length and width
• In some pictures we measured two lengths on an object
• We found the ratio of the two lengths
• We compared how close that ratio was to .618 (or 1.618) Some of them were really close (.625) some were medium close (.69 or .57) and some were pretty far off (.5 or .8)

For your assignment, find an object or picture that you think will have a ratio that is pretty close to a golden ratio. Measuer two lengths, and find their ratio. Bring it to class to share!
