1. Do the Pythagorean Theorem puzzle.  You can either do the one on the web, or you can print page 2 of the in class WS and  cut out the small square and the 4 pieces that make up the medium square and figure out how to make the large square out of them (tape them on).  Make me a sketch or print them out so I can see how you did it.

2. Explain one proof of the Pythagorean Theorem on paper.  This means you need pictures (either the pair of pictures we made in class today, or the pair of pictures that you made from the Pythagorean puzzle, and you need to write some sentences explaining how your pictures show that the areas are the same, and why that makes the Pythagorean Theorem true.
